Two additional major housing development planning applications submitted for Hook
There are now an additional two new major planning applications for housing in Hook in the Planning system in additional to the Reading Road housing proposal.
Of the two new planning applications, one is a full planning application for 60 homes on Owens Farm with access via Brown Croft. The second is an initial “request for screening advice” for 47 homes just South of the Owens Farm one with access via Hop Garden Road. The latter will certainly later become a full application.

I am looking for help from someone in the West of Hook to contact their neighbours and coordinate objections to the new applications. There simply aren’t enough free hours in the short time between submission of a planning application and the consultation deadline for one person to read the documents submitted and to gather support from residents local to each site. So if anyone knows of a resident in the vicinity of Seton Drive, Newnham Park, Hop Garden Road, Brown Croft, Goose Green, etc who would be able to do this please tell them to contact me as soon as possible. The deadline for consultation on the full application for Owens Farm is 10th January. Here are links to the two new applications.
