Planning meeting for Reading Road housing development on 12th February
At least one person has received a notification that the Hart Planning Committee will consider and decide the application for 70 houses at Reading Road at 7pm on Wednesday 12th February, just 8 days from now. I expect the remainder of notices will go out tomorrow by email or post to give the 7 days notice. We are of course going to be speaking against this application. Because of the similar case dates it is quite possible that the High Ridge Farm (Brown Croft) application will be considered at the same meeting.
This is a very different kettle of fish to the Sainsbury’s application and I feel there is a strong chance that this one should be rejected as being outside of Hart’s policy. We can take nothing for granted and will need to present a strong case for rejection and back it up with as many people there as we can muster, so as last time please let me know if you can attend this meeting and if you need a lift to get there.
This first one is really important – if it goes through we could be inundated with additional speculative planning applications.
